The 7’000th Menzi Muck walking excavator was handed over at the Menzi Muck AG headquarters in Rüthi on Friday, 8 December 2023 as part of a celebratory event. This marked another milestone in the company’s 50-year history and emphasised its continuous innovative strength. The 7’000th walking excavator, an M545x, was handed over to its new Norwegian owner in a festive and spectacular handover ceremony.

Machine customer Hjothol Johnson, who had travelled all the way from Norway, was overjoyed and proud to receive his new machine from Truls Österud, the Norwegian branch manager of Menzi Muck Scandinavia AS, who had also made the journey.
In his speech, Thomas Henke, Managing Director of Menzi Muck AG, emphasised Menzi Muck AG’s long-standing connectedness with Norway and the high priority the company attaches to its presence in the Nordic countries. A few little anecdotes from the more than 50-year history of Menzi Muck AG also provided amusement.
The audience was enthralled and unanimously delighted by the spectacular, musically accompanied exit of the machine from a fog-filled hall.
Afterwards, the numerous guests celebrated the handover of the machine in a cosy, Swiss atmosphere until late in the evening.
